Conferences and Community Consultations

With her longstanding involvement in community organizations and roles in the music business, Eve brings a wide and varied background in performing, adult education, the independent music business, teaching, writing, and coaching to any event. She helped found two non-profit arts organizations—Common Thread Community Chorus of Toronto and ArtsCan Circle—and she has served on the board of Common Thread, The Woods Music and Dance Camp, the Ontario Council of Folk Festivals (Folk Music Ontario), and Local 1000 of the American Federation of Musicians of the United States and Canada, serving as President for three years. She was involved in creating the artistic program for the Haliburton Winter Folk Camp, and has advised other organizations on programming for conferences, festivals and camps. She has led and participated in panels at Folk Music Ontario, Folk Alliance, the Northeast Regional Folk Alliance, Folk Alliance Region Midwest, and Folk Alliance Canada. She can speak on a wide variety of topics, including:
